Boston Scientific, Natick

Interns worked on a full-time basis for eight weeks during the summer in research and development departments assisting researchers developing cutting-edge medical equipment.

 

Beyond Genomics, Waltham

Interns placed in data management departments where they assisted researchers in categorizing and understanding human and animal DNA.

 

Channel 5/WCVB News

Interns assisted sales department on web site sales and understanding how to leverage complementary technology platforms, TV, web, and radio, to sell their message.

 

Acambis (pharmaceuticals)

Students worked during the summer on a full-time basis to understand the lab environment assisting researchers developing drugs.

 

ESD Systems

Interns worked on the sales and marketing of their technology platform, learning a great deal about software and technology and its applications to sales and marketing. Accompanied the sales team to meetings and observed meeting management, team collaboration, and presentation skills.

 

Metrowest Medical Center

Interns worked in several different departments part-time during the school year, during vacations, and on weekends, as well as full-time during the summer. Students worked directly with physicians, nurses, and other health care specialists to take care of the patients and assist in managing the various offices and wards.

 

Strata Bank

Several interns worked during the school year and the summer on the technology side of the bank's operations. Experience included back office operations and the technology platform used by customers for banking.

 

General Dynamics, Metrowest facility

Interns worked to understand complex manufacturing systems and engineering design processes. Students were able to see how complex products are managed and delivered.

 

Middlesex Savings Bank

Interns worked during the school year and summer to assist with bank operations, which included becoming proficient at the bank's complex technology platform for its paper and online banking systems.

 

Natick Labs, managed by the US Army

Interns spent the summer working with researchers designing cutting edge tools and supplies for America's armed forces.
