The LIFT² program team strives to continuously improve its professional learning program based on research and feedback from past and current teachers.

Stipend for summer externship

Teachers are paid a stipend of $800/week for successful completion of a summer externship in industry. Externships range from 5-8 weeks in duration based on the requirements of the sponsoring organizations. Stipend payments are issued weekly following receipt of an original signed timesheet. Note: this is taxable income.

 

Nine credits awarded through Framingham State College

Teachers have the opportunity to earn nine graduate level credits for successful completion of four professional development course modules. Each teacher is expected to commit the time and intellectual energy to successfully complete these four course modules.

LIFT² pays for tuition and books.

 

Professional Development Points (135 PDPs) are earned for completion of the four professional development course modules.

 

Access to the LIFT² online collaborative learning community during and following completion of the program.
